Who we are

Superior Statistical Services ("we", "us", "our") is a statistical analysis and research consulting business based in Adelaide, South Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:

• your first and last name
• your email address
• your organisation (optional)
• the service you're interested in and any details you include in your message.

If you email or phone us directly, we collect the information you choose to give us. Please don't send sensitive or identifiable research data through the contact form. If a project involves that kind of data, we'll agree a secure way to transfer it.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, discuss and scope your project, and provide services you engage us for. We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don't add you to a mailing list without your consent.

Third-party services

This website relies on a small number of service providers, some of which are located outside Australia:

• Formspree receives and delivers contact form submissions to us by email. Submissions are processed and stored on Formspree's servers in the United States.
• GitHub Pages hosts this website and may log technical information such as your IP address and browser type for security and operational purposes.
• Google Fonts and cdnjs (Cloudflare) supply the site's fonts and charting library. Your browser connects to their servers to download these files, which shares your IP address with them.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. By using the contact form you consent to your enquiry being sent overseas through Formspree.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies and does not use advertising or tracking tools. If we add website analytics in future, we'll use a privacy-friendly service that does not track individuals, and we'll update this policy.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and manage any resulting engagement, or as required by law, and are then deleted.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing admin@superiorstatistical.com.au. We'll respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
